Use case

Check a specific address you already have, such as an email typed into a signup or booking form, before you rely on it. The request returns the verdict directly, typically in under a second.
/verify-email checks the exact address you send. To discover an address for a person, use Find Email.

Errors

Statuses

OK and RISKY mean the same as in Find Email. Here UNKNOWN always means the check was inconclusive; Find Email can also return UNKNOWN as a placeholder for an address you supplied and it did not check. Verify Email returns INVALID for an invalid address. Find Email leaves invalid addresses it discovers out, and returns NOT_FOUND when it has no address.

Usage

Response

Verify many addresses

To check a list of addresses, use the verify_email block in a workflow.
